Drawing of One Orange Flower - pens on paper

This is my drawing of a flower, mostly orange in color, that I completed working on tonight. I used micron, gel and india ink pens on paper to create this piece. It measures approximately 6 x 6.25 inches.
Pens on paper is my favorite medium at this time, although I have been thinking more and more of painting in gouache on paper.

I shall put this drawing up for sale now on Etsy and later on Ebay. Here is my drawing for sale on Etsy.

Here is my new drawing that is very small in size, measuring approximately 3 x 3.5 inches.
I created it using micron, gel and india ink pens on 140 lb. paper.
I am thinking about creating a larger drawing of a cardinal soon...

small painting - Orange Calla Lily and Purple Color

I created a painting of a calla lily a few months ago.
I realized that several areas of this painting require definition. And so, I used micron pens to define a few parts of the flower as well as areas of the background.

This flower is mostly orange in color. It may appear to be somewhat geometric in shape. I created this piece using micron and gel pens on paper. And, it measures approximately 4 x 6 inches.

Here is my painting of an imaginary black tree with reddish purple or magenta blossoms. The sky that this tree is set against is light blue in color.
I call this painting, "Blue Sky and Magenta Flowers."

Purple & Magenta Flower - Small Drawing

Here is my purple and magenta flower, that was a challenge and a half to work on...Throughout the process of creating this piece, I made errors that need to be corrected.
And so, I did correct those errors. :)

Flowering Black Tree drawing

Here is "Black Tree with Flowers," that I created using a variety of pens on paper. It measures 6 x 8 inches.
I was inspired to create this drawing after seeing numerous red bud trees, which are absolutely gorgeous trees that have flowers growing on their trunks as well as on their branches. Their flowers are a lovely lavender color.

Here is my small and stylized drawing of a an orange daisy. Actually, I used many more colors aside from orange, like yellow and red and pink and brown...
I created this piece using gel and micron pens and india ink pens, on paper.

I spent so much time working on this piece, with the background being most time-consuming...

The colors of this flower were inspired by a photograph of an exquisite flower that I saw on Google Plus, by Monique Yates.

Pink Flower in Black Background - small drawing

Here is my high-contrast drawing of a pink flower, that looks very much like a daisy.
This was a very time-consuming piece to create.
It was originally much larger in size, but I needed to cut it to its current size, which is 6 x 6.5 inches because the background was taking much too much time to work on. And I honestly didn't feel that a larger black background would be advantageous to the drawing, as a whole.

O.K. So, I haven't seen any actual cherry trees this spring so far. However, I have viewed many photographs of them and I do remember, very fondly, how marvelous they looked last year.
And so, I have created another cherry tree in full bloom.

At the present time, the colors purple and magenta are among my favorites.
