Small Painting - Tree and Cloudy Sky
Here is my newest painting of a red tree, and perhaps the last for 2012.
This red tree thrives despite the rain, snow and windiness of the harsh winter it is experiencing!

small painting - Bare Red Tree
It is a brutally cold and windy day during winter.
This painting is of a tree that is surrounded by a cloudy sky. It is also bare of leaves. It is feeling a sense of loneliness.

small Painting of Tree, Clouds Sky
Here is my painting, in gouache on paper, that I completed today.
It measures 7 x 5 inches.
My intention, as I began working on this painting, was to create a painting of interesting clouds.
So, I began my painting, painting clouds...
And afterwards I spent a considerable amount of time working on the tree.
After I painted the tree, I worked on the clouds much more and on limbs of the tree, as well.
My completed painting is above...
Thank you for looking at my artwork.

Surreal small Drawing Tree with Eye within...
This is my very small drawing of a tree that has an eye within it...

Older Tree Drawing Reworked
I think this is a dreamy tree....not based very much on reality, but on one of my versions of beauty!
This multicolored drawing, is completed (I think).
I thought I completed this drawing 6 years ago...and for a few years, every now and then, I have been looking at it and wondering how I could improve upon it.
I added to the drawing...by creating more branches...
However I did trim the paper that the drawing was on, in 2006, in order to improve the composition.
Anyway, here is my "Dreamscape Tree," that measures approximately 6 x 8.75 inches. sold

Colorful Blossoms on Flowering Black Tree
It has been months since I have posted here on my tree blog.
But, here I am again, with a new drawing to show you!
I have been working on a series of flowering trees in the past few months, which has been a joyful experience.
This does not mean that I have given up work on my series of bare trees just so that you know. :)
So, here is my large (8 x 10 inch) drawing of a blossoming tree, that I created using pens on paper.
I used archival, acid-free and india ink pens to create this piece.
I hope you enjoy viewing it.
