Here is my drawing, that I call "The Thriving Flower." I created this drawing with the intention of showing hope for the future of the planet, to be succinct. As per usual, as of late, I created this piece using a variety of pens on paper. It measures 6 x 8 inches.

I completed this drawing 2 weeks ago but felt unsure about it. I wasn't convinced that I liked it. But, I like it now, and feel this drawing has validity. This drawing is of a tall and slender blue tree that has a few clusters of berries on it.
It measures 9 x 4 inches, and I created it on 140 lb. paper, as per usual.

I haven't created a tree in awhile. Actually, that isn't entirely true. I did create a drawing of a tree yesterday, but am highly dissatisfied with it. Perhaps I will work on it more in future.
Anyway, this particular tree is in a variety of colors and has one pink flower growing from one of its branches. This piece measures approximately 5 x 6.5 inches and I created it using micron and gel pens on paper.

Here is my newest drawing of a flower, which is mostly orange in color, although there are many more colors in each petal. And the center of this imaginary flower is yellow.
As per usual, I created this drawing on 140 lb. paper. And, this drawing measures approximately 5 x 5.5 inches in size.I used micron, gel and india ink pens to create this piece.

Last year I had created a drawing that I liked a lot. A few months ago, I realized that this drawing could have been much better, in terms of its composition.
And so, I arrived at the decision of making this drawing a background for a drawing of a black tree.
And so, I began to draw the tree and gradually, made the original 8 x 10" drawing, 6.75 x 8 inches in size. I altered the colors in the background, too.

Here is my purple and magenta flower, that was a challenge and a half to work on...Throughout the process of creating this piece, I made errors that need to be corrected.
And so, I did correct those errors. :)

I was inspired to create this drawing after seeing numerous red bud trees, which are absolutely gorgeous trees that have flowers growing on their trunks as well as on their branches. Their flowers are a lovely lavender color.

Pink Flower in Black Background - small drawing

Here is my high-contrast drawing of a pink flower, that looks very much like a daisy.
This was a very time-consuming piece to create.
It was originally much larger in size, but I needed to cut it to its current size, which is 6 x 6.5 inches because the background was taking much too much time to work on. And I honestly didn't feel that a larger black background would be advantageous to the drawing, as a whole.
