Green and Orange Tree

It has been quite awhile since I posted any artwork in this blog.

Shame on me.
:(
I must make more time for renditions of my beloved fantasy trees.

This painting was completely yesterday.
I like the sense of whimsy in this piece!

It measures 5" x 5."
It is very bold and colorful.

And, I am delighted to say, I started a new painting of a tree that is predominantly green in color.

Original miniature Drawing of Tree Landscape

This is a small-sized landscape with a surrealistic edge that was a bit of a challenge for me.

Soon the trees will not be bare!

I enjoy viewing bare trees because the shapes of the trunks and branches of trees are viewable.

After trees are in full leaf, the skeleton of the tree is covered and much of the tree's beauty is not apparent.

Most Trees are in Full Leaf now........

Most trees are in full-leaf now, where I live.

Sure, the green of the trees is very lovely and easy on the eyes.

However, I much prefer looking at bare trees, so that I can appreciate the beauty of the skeleton of the trees.

I find an enormous amount of beauty in the trunks of trees and their network of branches.
